Advertising and affiliate disclosure

Last updated: 10 October 2026

WattWise SA may earn revenue from advertising, affiliate links or clearly identified sponsored placements. These revenue sources help support the calculator and guides.

Affiliate links

If we use an affiliate link, we will identify the recommendation as a partner or affiliate offer and place a disclosure near the link. WattWise SA may receive a commission if you buy after following that link. The price you pay should not increase because of the referral.

Affiliate relationships do not determine your electricity tariff or calculator result. Check a product’s specifications, suitability, current price and terms with the seller before buying.

Advertising

Paid advertisements are separate from our guides and calculator results. An advertisement is not an endorsement by Eskom or a municipality, and it does not change the calculations on this site.

Current status

The Google AdSense verification code is present, but WattWise SA has not configured ad units or active affiliate links in the site code. Google may show Auto ads if that feature is enabled in the AdSense account. This page will be updated if paid placements or affiliate offers are activated.
